Run up Bosley Cloud under 40 minutes
First go at getting to the top of Bosley Cloud for 2013 under 40 minutes without any snow.
Didn't do as much jogging/running as I wanted to do so more effort required in future weeks!
At the top tried out the camera on my new phone along with the Veho Muvi X-Lapse set at 15 minutes.

Quick test using the camera on the Sony Xperia Go
Bought the Sony Xperia Go mobile phone to replace my Motorola Defy Mini.
Video I took on the Motorola Defy Mini can be seen below:
Not a direct comparison but shows how the Sony copes with 720p video.
Some sample photos taken on the Sony, resolution 3MP at 16:9.

Things To Do in 2013
Yesterdays run of 10km means I can cross off one of my things to do in 2013 to become fitter/get out and about more.
So one down, six to go!

Run 10km in one go
Decided this week to run 10km in one go rather than just 6km after last weeks 5km run.
I set the alarm to get up before 5am! so I could test out my new head torch on the trail section of the run. The LED Lenser H7 lit up the way a lot better than my Petzl e+lite head torch. Will try to do a future video of the Lenser H7 in action.
So 10km took me 1 hour 6 minutes and twenty-eight seconds, I even managed a bit of a sprint at the end!!

Run 10km in one go - Week 5
![]() |
| 5km point |
I tried to run 5km earlier in the week as my agency wasn't allowing me to work due to their internal flipping! audit. But due to work being carried out on the Biddulph Valley Way and dodging work machinery I decided to stop running just after 2km.
As I get up at 6 thirty for those days I am allowed! to work I did the same today.
Need to invest in a brighter head torch as the one I've currently got didn't emit much light.
5km took me 34 minutes and 19 seconds.
You'll be able to see my route so far along with the time and elevation gained in my next YouTube video, "Fitter For 2013 - Week 5".
My pace was slower today than previous weeks so I hope to cover the full 10km in a time between 65 and 70 minutes.
More snow forecast for tomorrow and icy on Monday so hope it's all gone by next weekend!!
